Microsoft Office Word

Microsoft Office Word is known by many names, these names include WinWord, Word, MS Word and Microsoft Word. This software was developed by Charles Simony and Richard Brodie in 1983. Microsoft Word is available for multiple systems /operating systems including Android, Apple, and IOS, Windows, Linux and system using WINE. This amazing software enables its users to create quality documents that are professional and presentable. Unlike other plain text editors MS Office has been loaded with many features including grammar check, spelling check, HTML support, advance page layout, image support and much more.

Microsoft Word is basically a word processor that makes its users capable of creating different type of documents. There is a great bit of variety of documents that can be created by using Microsoft Office Word. The documents include business contract, letter, and literature of any type, resume, research thesis and much more. MS Office comes with different features and tools that give its user the liberty of making and creating different type of documents. MS office also includes several features that we are going to discuss in this article.

Home

You can find it on the top left corner in MS office document. This is the default setting and you come directly on it whenever you open MS office. Home page allows you to have all the option, features and task bars right in front of you. These include things like page settings, fonts, text size, color, underlining, alignments and much more. There are tons of tools right in front of you and just a click away.

Insert

The feature of insert comes with many options and verities. The features includes insertion of cover page, blank page, page break, table, picture, clip art, shapes, smart art, chart, screen shot, hyper link, book mark, cross reference, header, footer, page number, text box, quick parts, WordArt, drop cap, signature line, date and time, equation and symbols.

Page Layout

Page Layout allows the users to add and select themes, effects, margins, orientation, size, columns, breaks, line numbers, watermark, page colour, page border, indent, spacing, position, wrap text, bring forward, selection pane and alignment of document.

References

References provide many options that are used to make a professional document. These  includes things like table of content, add text, update text, insert foot note, insert end note, next footnote, insert citation, manage sources, style, bibliography, insert caption, mark entry and insert table of authorities.

Mailings

You are provided with envelops, labels, mail merge, select recipients, edit recipient list, highlight merge field, address block, greeting line, insert merge field, preview result, finish and merge finish in mailings option.

Review

The feature of review allows its users to use many options which includes things like spelling check, grammar check, thesaurus, word count, translate, language, new comment, track changes, accept, reject, compare and restrict editing.

View

You can click on view if you are looking for options like, print layout, full screen editing, web layout, outline, draft, zoom, new window, arrange all, split, and macros.
